What is Hot Melt Adhesive Tape?
Hot Melt Adhesive Tape has a high tack, so it’s good for use in hotter or humid conditions.
In addition, hot melt is a type of adhesive made from synthetic rubber and is typically the default for most tapes - most notably for polyprop tape.
Not ideal for long-term storage.
Hot melt adhesive based tapes are also favoured for usage in medical related packaging due to it's ability to maintain sterility whilst transporting medical supplies and equipment.
These tapes have a wide range of uses and can be extremely versatile - hence why one form of hotmelt may be better suited for a job than another type - ask one of our reps if you'd like help finding the perfect specification for your job.
