What is Plastic Edge & Corner Protection?
Plastic edge and corner protection is a resilient type of protection that offers a strong grip and additional layer to goods - Preventing the strapping of pallets from cutting into the items. They can be reused numerous times.
The corners can also be expanding, open or closed.
We also provide corner protection in foam, polystyrene and kraft materials.
What different types of Plastic Edge & Corner Protection do we provide?
Closed Corners:
- Designed in set sizes and slide onto the corners you want protected - once in place, they grip tightly and securely.
- They have a closed face and protect against knock damage.
Open Corners:
- These protectors have a single face which allows them to slot onto corners like a a protective cap.
- Best suited for deeper consignments.
Expanding Corners:
- These corners are the most versatile as they can expand and change size to best fit onto the item corner they are protecting.
Edges:
- Plastic edge protectors are used around the sides of consignments where the strapping has been set - creating a layer between the goods and strapping to prevent damage.
